Flying Jakob a very typical 80’s dish from Sweden

Seeing as I have a lot of international friends from my gaming days I thought I would add all my recipes also in English. Seeing as google translate isn’t capable of translating recipes in a usable way, it will take some time and yes I take request on what recipes to priorities. This recipe is for you Andrew!

Flying Jakob a very typical 80's dish from Sweden

Flying Jakob Ala Helen Holmberg

Enough for 2-3 very hungry people

7  dl whipped cream
2 dl Heinz chili sauce
1 dl chopped peanuts
1 grilled chicken
2 bananas
150 grams of bacon

Preheat oven to 225 degrees. Pick all the meat from the chicken, remove skin (optional but I hate the skin) and bones. Cut the chicken meat into small pieces and place in an ovenproof dish. Peel and split the bananas in half, put them on top of the chicken meat.

Whip the cream just as fluffy as you would have if it was for a cake. Fold in chili sauce carefully into the cream (don’t want to loose to much air) and divide the mixture into the mold.

Bake in the lower part of the oven for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the bacon with a scissor into the pan and fry them to crunchy little bits. Place bacon on paper or in a strainer so you get rid of all excess fat.

Serve Flying jacob with bacon, peanuts and rice (don’t forget to put on the rice when you put the form in the oven). And no, you don’t have to eat the banana it’s main purpose is to add a sweet flavour to the dish. Hope you will enjoy it as much as me and my mister does!

    Ser väldans gott ut! 🙂

      Kram

to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.
I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you
would have some experience with something like this.
Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I
